JOYA CORY Has been performing since 1971. She is the creator of numerous original theatre pieces, acts and directs in a variety of venues, and directs the improvisation troupe, LUCKY DOG THEATRE. She has taught Full Spectrum Improvisation (a form she developed) to more than a thousand students.
Her work has been recognized with grants from the California Arts Council, in addition to other grants and awards. Joya has trained actors, therapists, teachers, public speakers, and business people, as well as teaching movement and drama for healing. She leads team building, communication, and creativity workshops for working groups.
